I had reason to go to Dr Podmore recently and she is a real lady and excellent to go to. She was caring and sorted my problem out straight away. I would highly recommend her for anyone worried about a problem. Mary

I visited Dr Podmore several times over the space of 5 years. Each time feeling that she ignored what I was telling her. Visited a private clinic because of this where I was spoken to like a human and the problem was solved in weeks

20/8/18 Back in the mid to late 1980s Dr Patricia Podmore spent as much time as was humanly possible to diagnose me with Stevens Johnson syndrome also known as Eurthema multi formi. I doubt very much I would be alive today if it were not for her efforts! Nobody else had a clue what was wrong with me? Only before my mother passed away in February 2015 did I learn that I had first been ill as a baby. The Ulster hospital told my parents that I had a viral infection but they did not know which one yet suspected meningitis. I guess back then it would’ve presented itself as being very similar? So now here I am aged 57 and although I still get flare ups I am doing well by managing my allergy to any herpes virus. (Yes ANY) That has curtailed my lifestyle throughout the years. I avoid crowds as I have learned that most viruses are airborne. Regardless of the information I was previously given. I hope that this review finds Patricia well and I’m SO very glad to have found her here after all these years. When I first met Patricia I thought I was going to die because I was so terribly ill and there were no answers. Not only did she find answers she gave me my life back albeit restricted in some regards. So this is my way of saying thank you for everything she did for me then and continues to do as I still follow her advice all these years later. One very knowledgeable lady who showed me much kindness when everyone else looked at me as if I was an AIDS victim. I do not have AIDS. I have an allergy to any herpes related viruses.
