I suffer from a rare condition which Dr Kar diagnosed 4 and ½ years ago when I was admitted into QA after attending the A & E dept. At the time Dr Kar explained what had happened to me and gave me very clear instructions on how to manage my condition. Since then his interest in my welfare has been constant, with tests and MRIs etc to make sure that I am doing fine. I know that I can speak to him whenever I have a problem and he will either reassure me or take action. This allows me to live without anxiety. Dr Kar also introduced me personally to a member of his team whom I can contact in his absence ensuring that I never feel isolated. That is good, all round, patient care.
