We are a residential home for Adults with Intellectual disabilities & challenging behaviours. Dr Singh oversees the care of most of our service users. He visits regularly to complete face to face visits with his patients and is always available should there be a need in between. He understands their complex nature, and is kind & caring and takes his time to ask how they are feeling and their needs and not just taking information from the staff or management. He is very knowledgeable and up to date with his practices and we respect and value his support.

My daughter has complex needs. She is Downs Syndrome has health issues and has also been diagnosed as being on the Autistic spectrum. She has been selectively mute over the last 7 years which makes communication difficult and especially when diagnosing the best way to treat/help her. We have been seeing Dr Singh for the last 18 months and are very impressed by his treatment of my daughter. He is unfailingly patient (not as common as you may think) and empathetic with our daughter and ourselves. His diagnosis of our daughter and methodology of treatment has been very astute, and to the point. He defines exactly what her problems and feelings are and then suggests the best method to help her overcome her fears and embedded practices (these are considerable because of the Autism). As parents we know how much better life is for our daughter and ourselves because of his treatment of her, and medically how he has diagnosed and advised methods to help reduce the affects of the Autism so we can care for her better and enhance her life. He is a great example as a medical professional, and the NHS and general public would benefit if there were many more "health professionals" who emulated his practices and empathies.

I have worked with Dr Singh for a number of years within the NHS. He is a well liked man who is passionate and knowledgable in his field of Psychiatry. He is caring, honest, approachable and always puts patients and carers at ease. He works holistically and will always put the patient at the centre of care. He respects colleagues opinions and values their input. Dr Singh is an asset to the NHS and is a highly respected and valued colleague.

My son N has been in Dr Singh`s care for a few years now. It is always a pleasure to see him at N`s reviews and when he is called in specially by his wonderful support team at Huthwaite. Dr Singh is so engaging, immediately puts you at ease and has a great understanding of my son`s needs which are very complicated. He actually visits my son at his home because of his complex needs. At the moment he is helping us all to steer N through his father`s passing which is obviously so difficult for him. Normally we have yearly reviews but Dr Singh will see him more frequently through this period, has tweaked his medication and involved the Community Nursing Team to help with his bereavement. I just feel confident and so reassured by the excellent care my son receives from Dr Singh and his support team. Thank you......

Dr Singh has been an immense help to Hedley our son and to our family. He is an amazing doctor who listens and takes action when it is needed. . Hedley has settled on his medication and Dr Singh has supported us when changes have been suggested by his GP, tried but not successful as he always has H’s best interest at heart. H enjoys his visits and these fit around H’s time scales. I love Dr Singh’s positive attitude towards everything around H and am always thankful we met him and he is involved n H’s ongoing care.
