A truly outstanding Doctor. I have been seen by Dr Burrows on several occasions over several years and don’t know where I would be without his care, professionalism and expertise. Dr Burrows is always welcoming, professional, friendly, courteous, kind and approachable with genuine care for his patients. Dr Burrows always keeps me informed throughout my treatment pathway, giving me clear information in a language that I can understand explaining fully the diagnosis and treatment options. In discussing treatment options Dr Burrows explains fully what each procedure option involves plus both the medical and cosmetic outcome; considering, understanding and appreciating the emotional aspect of my care. I have never felt rushed, am attentively listened to and know I can ask him any question, repeatedly if needed, knowing there is never a ‘silly’ question. Dr Burrows genuinely wants his patients to be fully informed and involved in their care and this is how I always feel. At my initial consultations Dr Burrows always gives me his honest professional opinion of my condition which is then confirmed by a biopsy and followed up swiftly with excellent treatment and after care. Dr Burrows has even telephoned me with my biopsy results, booking the next appointment over the phone, as opposed to me having to wait for letters in the post thus shortening the length of time before treatment and reducing anxiety levels - another example of fantastic and efficient care. Dr Burrows is always thorough, providing exemplary care; at my most recent initial consultation Dr Burrows detected two further areas that needed treatment which I was not even aware of and on the day of surgery I highlight a new area of concern which he biopsied there and then for me, giving me further peace of mind and reassurance. On the odd occasion Dr Burrows has been running late with his appointments, I have always been informed of the expected wait time, but I would actually wait all day to see him, knowing that if he is delayed it will be because of the great care he is giving another patient and that I too will be given the time and care that I need. Dr Burrows is an expert in his field, a genuine caring doctor and I have 110% trust and confidence in him.
