I was referred to Dr. Chammas for osteoporosis last year. Luckily she was extremely conscientious and thorough as she examined my neck and discovered a lump which was eventually diagnosed as thyroid cancer. I have subsequently had surgery to remove this lump and have now been given the all clear. It's quite sobering when you think about how your life can take such a different trajectory simply based on the doctor you happen to see. I was incredibly fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Chammas and would highly recommend her.
