Since becoming a patient of Dr Dewar 6 years ago I have never had to worry about going to see her with any of my ailments. She always has time for me and listens carefully and does not interrupt me like some doctors I have been to. I have had more positive help with my healthcare problems since seeing her than I have had in any surgery I have been a patient in my 57 years. With her I feel that I have the ability to talk and make my own suggestions as to how my care needs are met. If I feel that a tablet I am on is not working as well I have been able to discuss other tablets that I have looked into in my search to help myself to control my condition with her guidance and we discuss the pro's and cons of the change. I have a complex medical history and feel so much more in control, with Dr D's help which I think is very positive for me. I would recommend her to anyone but I know she is a very well thought of doctor and is very busy as she is now only part time. She never lectures like so many doctors do.
