Blood tests in Feb and March 2020 followed quickly by a MRI scan, biopsy and bone scan at Rotherham District General) confirmed I had prostate cancer and susbsequent treatment would be in the hands of Dr. M. Alzouebi. Consultation by telephone enabled me to clearly understand the options I had, the time scale involved and the proceedures that I would have before and during radiotherapy at W.P.H Sheffield. I had every opportunity to ask questions and discuss at length any issues I had.It was an advantage for me that the Consultant was happy for my wife to be able to hear our conversation via speaker phone. The pre and post radiotherapy consultations were reassuring and informative, never once did I feel there were time constraints during them. All post treatment processes went according to plan. And all this achieved during Covid 19 - a tribute to all NHS staff involved in my treatment. Thank You seems not enough but I really do mean it.
