I came to see Dr. Akhtar with a problem that is on the border line of NHS or Private care, Dr. Akhtar has listen to my problem from start to end and then discussed all the options that are available to resolve the problem, he has also mentioned the fact that I may have to go to a Private clinic due to the problem being on the border line of NHS procedures list, at this point I have asked him for his help and he kindly replied that he would do his best, I left the surgery feeling happy and confident knowing all the facts about my problem and full of hope to have a fast solution with the support and communication I have received from Dr Akhtar. It has been 4 weeks past my appointment with DR. Akhtar and I have already received the required treatment and care to resolve my problem and the service was provided by the NHS. I would like to Sincerely thank DR. Akhtar for all that he has done to help me overcome my problem and also for being the most professional, ethical and caring GP I came across on the NHS for many many years. Thumbs Up!
