My doctor cares for the patients in his community. Especially those who are old, young and vulnerable. He manages to juggle a large case load with important commissioning work in our area and is always there for me. He listens, he delivers and he makes me have hope about curing my ongoing problems, even though they are mainly caused by old age.

All of my family have been fortunate to be under the care of Dr Haugh for most of our time in Torquay. He is an excellent communicator who listens carefully to his patients and ensures they fully understand what options are available to them. He is, like most doctors today, extremely busy and yet I have never felt rushed during a consultation. Patient care is Dr Haugh's prime concern at all times, not just during the consultation. In my opinion Dr Haugh is the best GP I have ever known

i lived in the South east for 58 years and moving to Torbay was a problem as I need to relate to a Dr. I chose Dr Haugh initially as he trained in GALWAY and usually IRELATE TO IRISH PEOPLE..He is a delight always giving as much time as necessary and of course sometimes that means he is late with his appts, but I always think that could be me who needs help. So no problem. He is understanding of situations and listens, treats me very much as an equal and is never patronising. He refers when necessary and will refer if I am very concerned about anything. I rate him very highly, but most of all he is a warm, kind honest human being.
