I saw this GP for the first time today about a condition that was causing me a lot of pain. I am elderly and found his manner abrupt and condescending. I was in tears when leaving the room.

Dr Phelan is in my opinion a doctor who listens and together discusses the way fwd in helping his patient to find the solution, and the help required if necessary to assist the patient. A caring manner and a Dr who understands and gives sound advice,and reasoning to help the patient.

I am generally fit and healthy so rarely attend the practice. When I do use the service I have always found staff most helpful found that the diagnosis of problem has been thorough found that the treatment provided has "fixed" the issue In each of these instances Dr Phelan has been brilliant
