One of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Does not listen to a word you say. Met her in person 2 times and the 3rd time says “we finally meet in person’”. Diagnosed me with something a neurologist would diagnose and the neurologist I saw before seeing her said I did not have that. Tests came back negative but she says that does not matter. I could write pages about her but will leave it at that!

She was 40 minutes late for my appointment, she was on a telephone meeting. Spent 10 minutes with me. Didn’t examine my joints. Looked at my hands and said, they look fine. I asked about the X-ray results, looks fine. Asked about lab work, looks fine. She was not personable. Very cold and could care less. Went to get me brochures, came back empty handed, didn’t have any. Had me sign paperwork for a new Biologic prescription. Never asked or explained anything about the new drug. I wish my regular rheumatologist didn’t close his office because now I’m in search of a new one who cares and is knowledgeable. Somebody who at least cares. I will not be returning to this office.

I am a 70 year old female with longstanding musculoskeletal problems and fibromyalgia. Recently diagnosed with gout and despairing with pain and lack of good sleep. Dr Samavi gave me a thorough and lengthy consultation about my medical history and how my quality of life has deteriorated in recent months. I now have a plan of action with a revised drug regime and ongoing support and Improved guidance and understanding for my GP. I feel optimistic that I will be able to regain my strength and interest in life along with improved physical ability to pursue my interests in walking gardening and looking after my grandchildren! No improvement necessary for consultant. The best yet!
