Wow! What a lovely and caring Consultant. My mum is 89 and a real toughie. Martin met her in A & E at Leicester Royal Infirmary and though it was a mega busy day as always there he and the nursing staff there at the time could not have been any better. Mum and the family love you all and the care that Mum had. Mum was not very stable at the time but there were lots of others that needed their assistance too. Martin was fabulous, he held Mum's hand and explained in laymen's terms what was happening and how he was going to help her. Gave us lots of confidence as did her nurse at the time Daryl, sorry if I have spelt the name wrong, but she was so so lovely. Mum was transferred to Glenfield thanks to Martin as her condition was not great. To cut a long story short Mum has improved and it was lovely that Martin was at Mum's side to tell her that she could go home. Mum so appreciated what you did for her and all the lovely caring staff. She couldn't have been in better hands. Thank you so much for your caring nature. x
