My 18 year old daughter was recently seen by Dr Greenhalgh regarding her mental health issues. He was very rude and dismissive towards her and lacked understanding and compassion. She was accompanied by her older sister for support and he was also very rude to her, dismissing her input and not allowing her to voice her concerns and actually asked her to leave the room!....very unprofessional conduct for a GP. My daughter was palmed off with a self referral letter and was not at all pro-active in dealing with a very serious health concern. When you are in a profession dealing with sick and vulnerable people you need to practice a caring attitude alongside a medical qualification!! This doctor needs to learn bedside manners !
Sadly, I was not impressed with Dr. Greenhalgh, he did not examine me but prescribed the antibiotics I asked for, I got the impression he did not want to dirty his hands.
He was extremely rude and had a very poor bedside manner.
He has poor listening skills and was dismissive and judgemental, and was quick to put me down. I could barely believe that I was talking to a member of the medical profession.
I have a huge respect for doctors, but I am sorry to say that I was truly appalled by this doctor's behaviour, the lack of dignity and respect demonstrated, was quite shocking.
I felt very vulnerable and left the surgery in tears, definitely not the way to treat a patient.
Listen to the patient, don't make ridiculous comments like 'you're a stay at home mum, you would be tired'
Mark is very considerate and listens to the patient
