I was saddened and shocked to hear that the Old Dispensary is having to merge with the Quarter Jack Surgery after an inspection back in 2023.
I found Dr Deverell to be most caring, helpful and understanding. I always knew that if I was waiting a little longer for an appointment due to the needs of a patient, it was the same treatment he would give to me if I needed a little longer than the allocated ten minute slot. He always explained your condition to you in layman's terms if that was required and would only prescribe when necessary. I trusted him completely and don’t want to have to now re-build trust with another doctor. I wish him all the best with his early retirement and blame the medical inspection team for this great loss…
