Dr Wilkinson is an excellent and caring GP. He did everything possible to ease my mother's symptoms (she died of MND in April of this year) and respected her decision not to have any invasive treatments and interventions that may have prolonged her life, but which would have increased her suffering. She died very peacefully without invasive breathing machine vents and tubes sticking out of her weak and emaciated frame. Because of his kind support (and the support of other excellent health professionals) she got her wish to die at home (and die with dignity) with me holding her hand. Thank you Dr Wilkinson, you are a credit to your profession.
