I have been attended by Dr Luke Whiting since May 2014, when he first diagnosed my heart murmur and sent me to a cardiologist for further investigation. I was subsequently diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis, requiring a replacement aortic valve and have recently had open heart surgery to replace my diseased valve with a mechanical one. Dr Whiting has supported me as a patient at Audley Mills surgery throughout the waiting period for my operation, and now through the post op recovery period. He has always treated me with patience and respect and has been very kind and caring, in a friendly but extremely professional way. He is always ready to listen and has answered all of my questions regarding my condition, openly. This approach has given me lots of confidence when faced with major surgery and all that is involved in the process. A huge thank you for Dr Whiting, Audley Mills surgery (including the fantastic nursing staff who have been involved in my care, and who have recently removed my stitches without any pain!) and of course our wonderful NHS.
