Dr Liz knew all my medical history and that I was only risking surgery because it was a matter of life and death. She explained the various choices I had and I followed her advice .Dr Liz was understanding caring and patience. Her after surgery visit was also welcomed as it reassures the patients that all has gone well. Dr Liz explained everything she was doing as the procedure progressed, her assistant was also very caring. Between them they made a potential frightening experience into a calm one.

Response from Dr Liz Kingston

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I am glad you felt the discussion pre op was enough to explore your choices and to reassure you of the steps to be taken to minimise risk during your procedure. Helping patients to remain calm during care reduces the stress impact of surgery, and I believe increases the likelihood of a positive care experience. I hope you are now recovering well, and I am glad to hear I was able to support you through your care.
