I told Dr Kingston i had a reaction to anisetic last time i had an operation.. if i recall the conversation i was told it was slowly given through the procedure which resulted in me not having any reaction as last time i vomited for 7 hours .. I would highly recommend being given anisetic this way. I would like to say thank you to all the staff they where lovely.

Response from Dr Liz Kingston

I am glad to hear your anaesthetic experience was positive for you this time. We used intravenous anaesthetic throughout your operation, avoiding anaesthetic gas. For patients who previously had severe nausea and vomiting after anaesthetic we often find IV Anaesthetics can reduce the chance of sickness quite significantly, allowing people to eat and drink sooner after their operation, and getting home sooner. Wishing you well for your recovery and future health care.
