I was offered an appointment with Dr Walters recently, having previously spoken to other GP's at the practice about my symptoms and concerns.
Dr Walters was truly lovely. Empathetic, understanding, kind, engaging and made me feel as though I was her only patient. She showed interest in what I had to say and I felt completely listened to.
She identified potential treatment options and diagnosis and a plan was put in place.
Dr Walters is wonderful and I will always push to see her if possible.
I attended in a distressed state and was immediately met with validation of my state, compassion and the time to address it fully. My consultation included informed consideration to important related issues, as well as the aspects I had expected- giving me confidence in the treatment offered. Further links to credible useful information and support networks. I can’t under state how much I appreciated how open and easy to talk to, and the genuine care given by Dr W. I felt well informed and relatively clear, given the foggy/emotional state I was in. How you can give so much when under such pressure is admirable. I was grateful and humbled.
This lady is brilliant, she took the time to understand what my body was going through. She just listened when I needed someone to, she showed me empathy and made me feel like what I was feeling was normal for me now and that I wasn't going crazy.
I couldn't be happier with her care and understanding, she gave me great advice and didn't make me feel like a number.
Early menopause is a hard thing to cope with, it messes with your body and mind, having someone to guide you is just what I needed.
Thank you
