I cannot praise Dr Savvatis enough for his care both before and after surgery. He explained in detail and with diagrams exactly what my problems were and what both he and the surgeon planned to do to resolve the situation. Living a distance away, Dr Savvatis kept in touch by telephone and email from the first consulation thoughout tests and finally surgery. Nothing seemed to be a problem for him, despite not having much medical knowledge, he was happy to reassure me on the smallest detail and my wife and I felt very confident and happy with the treatment I received which we certainly felt was way beyond the care we would have expected from an extremely busy Consultant. Dr Savvatis has a friendly, charming and professional manner which made it really easy to discuss everything in a relaxed atmosphere and my wife was most impressed that having only met him once, he recognised her in the corridor over a month later in the hospital - he obviously takes a great interest and care in both patient and their family.
