Very poor level of professionalism. After diagnosing me with a cognitive disorder - and scribbling the address of a website she suggested I look at - I was left to my own devices.
Three years later another clinician, more knowledgeable in my condition, did the correct neurological examination. I was then recommended specific physiotherapy for the nerve damage which had affected my muscles. There was no surprise at the muscle atrophy. The only shock expressed was that I had been unable to access care and treatment before.
Dr Harkness is far too keen to diagnose cognitive disorder which blinds her to other possibilities.
