What one would expect to be the scariest and most terrifying experience was rather a pleasant one; Dr Sahota made me feel at ease from the start and was so friendly and understand. She asked questions in such a way that even when the topic was uncomfortable it felt ok and safe to talk about it. She put my mind at ease , she was really informative and made me feel validated. I couldn’t praise this Dr enough as she has made the beginning of my journey so much more easy and you could tell she really cares. I hope once I reach the NHS Waiting list I get the Privilege of getting to see her again. The best bit of Money I have spent on private treatment lies with this consultation - I can’t thank her enough. I’d recommend this doctor especially when having gender issues/gender dysphoria. I am a patient seen by Charring Cross GID clinic and my first appointment was with Dr Kirpal Sahota. One reads accounts online of such appointments being an arduous battle to try and justify why you are there but I found her to be very thoughtful and although she asked what she needed to to get the answers she did so in a very considerate way and in a manner that made me feel air ease talking about sensitive matters with someone who us ultimately a complete stranger. She made sure I understood everything, gave me good advice and listened to what I was asking and addressed my concerns with great care and attention to detail. I feel very lucky to have been seen by her

Dr Kirpal Sahota was my locum consultant psychiatrist at St Charles Hospital, London, which hospital clearly did not deserve such a great professional; however the patients did.She had a clear and methodological intellect approaching medical problems, and is a truly fantastically caring person. She was among the few doctors who really believed in my recovery, and was very positive, which I needed, totally lacking confidence in my own future. She asked the clinical psychologist Dr Tiplady to treat me - which treatment was not possible according Dr Sieropatowska ward doctor before. Not only I was put on a medication which actually helped me, and changed my life during her time at the hospital, but she also deeply cared about my future in the system, and even my mother's mental well-being, because it was terribly difficult for her to see me suffering so much. With Dr Tiplady they were a fantastic team, and my recovery depended hugely upon them.I cannot but wish her a workplace which is worthy of her, not just as a doctor, but a truly benevolent person to patients.
