I first saw Dr Putchakayala at the spire private practice in Warrington with severe aching, muscle weakness all over and a bad throat/chest. After 3 weeks of blood tests and no treatment he advised me to go into Leighton Hospital unfmder the NHS. Where he could monitor and get me a full team of care. On being taken into Leighton Hospital Dr Putchakayala was actually on holiday for the duration of time I was there. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and released from hospital after 2 weeks and only got a message from Dr Putchakayala on the Friday explaining something concerning had been found on the xrays of my lungs but couldn’t tell me more until the following Monday. I then waited all weekend until I had to ring him on the Tuesday morning being told he was ‘too busy’. He then referred me to a Dr Booton lung specialist at Wythenshawe hospital who also did not have a clue what my condition was or even how to take bloods. Over 3 months of me gradually getting worse but Dr Putchakayala continued to deny not knowing what was wrong with me and referring me to a competent Rhuematologist. Finally in Sept 2014 after nearly 4 months I saw Dr Hector Chinoy at Alexander Hospital in Cheadle and SALFORD Royal that knew what he was dealing with and the treatment I needed.
