My friend had felt, really Il yesterday, struggled to get to surgery today during morning, no appointments, till nurse, two days' hence. She walked to surgery, nearly collapsing, So poorly, then back to her home, very weak all the way determined to remain there suffering till Wednesday. I rang to try to help her get seen sooner, she was not joking. To have spinning sensation in her head while lying in bed is not normal. She was so nauseous, yesterday at a meting, and has felt not well for many days. A telephone call to her was arranged and Dr. De Driend arranged for medicine to be delivered to her home later today. Super service for my friend... then there was more... He gave her a slot tomorrow morning, to be checked over physically at surgery by his register. After he had called her, she rang me, her mood had changed dramatically, feeling so pleased, and temporarily relieved not to have to wait till Wednesday. Excellent service today Dr de Friend thousand thank yous, when we all appreciate you all are, under great pressure from the 'system', NHS rules, paper work piled high, and with Caterham having grown, due to loads of developments in the area. Life must be so difficult, but when we feel ill, we need to see our G P. Now. Thank you for pulling the shops for her Dr. De Friend.
