I am one of the many patients that Dr Lyon Maris has mis-diagnosed. He would not listen to me on the numerous occasions that I saw him in 2012/13, refusing to consider that I might have an ulcer instead insisting I suffered from work-related stress and depression. Six months of severe discomfort and illness, my ulcer ruptured and I almost died. This has affected my whole life, ruined my career and destroyed any opportunity I may have of starting a family.
