I feel sorry for my doctor he inherited as I was systematically encouraged to move from my previous GP Dr R.S Thakor of the Evington Medical Centre, after I was prescribed some expensive medication from a Hospital consultant and it came out of his budget. This doctor did have some issues about the cost, but had a heart to see after I needed it having survived a major RTA, he tries and does listen and does all he can within his remit. He is a very good doctor, and kindly soul, although I did not start off on the right foot with him, as several doctors had refused me purely because of the cost of my medication. To spend nearly a million on me, on ECMO than refuse me a £10 tablet, yet the NHS, will fly in a non UK taxpayer from Pakistan and given them treatment. or give a girl a boob job so she can become a model, or lengthen her legs so she can be model. I just want to live in as little pain as possible. Go figure that? But after an initial denial he is a nice guy and pleasant chap.
