I am confident this is a highly qualified and very accomplished doctor, however, on this occasion I was NOT listened to. My in person appointment at the clinic was given to a junior doctor - I had no problem with this. Dr Parsonage approved his findings. The recommended ultrasound highlighted some minor inflammation around my shoulder, however the hospital consultant did suggest the inflammation had no connection with my original ailment, and that the problem was caused by something completely different. Consequently, unless I take up the offer by Flansham clinic to have a steroid injection to ‘treat the pain’, the case is closed. At no point did I say I was in pain, quite the reverse. What I have been experiencing is very worrying numbness across my shoulders and down both arms….despite my describing this in detail to two receptionists, Dr Parsonage on the phone, and Dr Mensa in the surgery, I am back to square one. I WAS NOT LISTENED TO.
