I saw Dr Withers as the Duty Doctor when I needed to see a GP urgently. She was so lovely that I'm now lucky enough to have her as my GP.
She comes out to meet her patients, welcomes them with a handshake, looks them in the eye, does her homework with your notes and then gives you her full attention when you're explaining your problem. She even says she's sorry you're suffering! She then works out the best course of action, discusses it with you to see if you've any particular ideas about your care and then organises whatever is needed.
As someone who cares about manners, empathy and being involved in decisions about my health, I was absolutely bowled over by this excellent GP. I feel confident that whatever I might face, I'll be in good hands with her as my Doctor.
