Unfortunately my experience with this doctor wasn’t as positive as other reviews. I spoke to Dr Youatt over the phone about wanting to change my blood pressure medication after suffering awful side effects. All my complaints were completely ignored and i was made to stay on the tablets because she thought she knew my own body better than i do. To make matters worse, a week later i ended up spending 4 nights in hospital because the symptoms got so bad (severely painful acid reflux, breathlessness from just standing up and a ‘resting’ heart rate of 148 bpm). A week or 2 after coming out of hospital i spoke to a different doctor who very reluctantly let me change medications and guess what? The symptoms subsided - funny that!
