I would not recommend seeing Jane. Her dismissive, conclusion-preceeding-evidence way of working is surely a detriment to her ability to properly diagnose patients. Huge waste of time and money.

I had several experiences with this doctor regarding my baby and today was the last. First time was ok although she refused to answer a question I had because we were overtime by 5 minutes. Not really pleasant. Second time was for my 4-month baby who had eczema, she simply prescribed an OTC cream instead of the one I already had (prescribed by the HV). As it got worse, I visited another GP who said it was typical of a cow milk allergy and referred me straight to an allergist. The allergist confirmed several food allergies and prescribed me the same cream as the HV on top of others. Third time was today for my baby again who had difficulties breathing. Long story short, a nurse had already pre-diagnosed a laryngitis at A&E and I wanted the confirmation of a doctor with some medicine. After explaining the pre-diagnosis, Dr Lim prescribed antibiotics and referred me to a pediatrician. We went and saw a pediatrician who diagnosed a croup (similar to laryngitis), which is a virus therefore antibiotics cant do anything about it, it is only killing all the good bacteria in my baby's body. He prescribed steroids and after one dose, it is getting better already. Conclusion: this GP plays it safe everytime but doesn't really know much in pediatrics. And antibiotics should not be automatic as a default measure, just send me to a specialist. She's probaby better with adults, but I won't try.
