I visited the doctor with chronic pain issues, primarily in my neck and lower back. I already had a diagnosis of Hypermobility syndrome and possible Fybromialgia. The doctor checked some movements in my joints and said I am hypermobile indeed but he put the emphasis on my Fibromyalgia and said I need to build up my exercise and know that the pain is not there because of any physical issues, it's only my nerves. I explained that I was very active and my condition has been getting worse, I cannot just build up it again with willpower. He seemed like he was half asleep. He didn't check my family history or anything related to my hypermobility to test again HEDS nor ordered any tests or checked what caused me the pain. Didn't offer any treatments only 1 pill. 3 months later my GP ordered an MRI and it showed osteoarthritis in my low back and disc bulges with spinal stenosis in my neck. I had a cervical fusion since. I paid £250 for this consultation... It was disappointing
