James made me feel listened to and as if he really cared about me and the pain I was suffering. He included me in the decision making process for my on going care. He did everything he said he was going to do. I would happily recommend him and the surgery to anyone who will listen!

Dr Matheson is very approachable, and has an excellent rapport with patients.
He explains everything , isn't rushed and very patient. He instills confidence that his diagnosis and treatment will be successful, and is there if needed for follow up.
Totally trustworthy with a smile that would put anyone at ease!

Never feel rushed. Always has plenty of time for you no matter how small a problem. Takes his time to explain everything and the options. Listens to you and answers your questions well and clearly. Makes good eye contact. Totally trust him.
