Dr Turvill is a fine doctor who has his patients wellbeing at heart. I was recently in York District Hospital for a bowel problem which I had for at least 14 weeks. Eventually he tracked down the cause and I have since been sent home with a appointment to go back for a check up. When in hospital he reassured me that he would find the cause of my illness and gave me confidence which was much needed after such a long time with my problem. I would certainly advise patients to consult him as he will listen and then tell the action he will take . If there more doctors like him, committed to the health of patients, with compassion, the world would be a better place.
