I had a skin cancer removed. Within 48 hours my entire face swelled and my eyes closed up. I was in extreme pain. Jack Mann spoke to me by phone and I was reviewed in hospital. He didn’t know what had caused it. A nurse at my GP surgery dressed my wound 3 times a week for 3 months to try to get the wound to heal. This was on my face .

Referred to Guy's hospital for cancerous lesion in difficult spot in corner be of nose at very start of Covid. First visit was greeted by welcoming volunteer Leon 2 nd visit was operation day. Dr Mann excellent, explaining his choices of procedure & putting me completely at ease so trusted him implicitly. Because it was in a difficult spot & cut from nose to lip corner he even took photos with my camera for me! Very caring, even to asking his team if they had eaten (and me!). The team were also excellent. At follow up visit he even signed a copy if his book Gravity's Arrow i'd been given. Highly recommended. I was also lucky enough to be offered Hospital Transport for the followups and were also extremely kind & helpful. Gill Caton

After sending a photo to my G P of a red mark on my face she advised me to see a dermatologist to see if it was skin cancer , I made an appointment with Dr Mann .at once he made me feel calm with his manner . He assured me the mark was not cancer .but I had a mole which needed removing , dr Mann removed the mole I was very anxious but he talked to me though the procedure.he is very professional at the same time has a caring and friendly manner . I would recommend Mr Mann 100% so very glad I chose him from the list of dermatologist I was sent . Cheryl

Having had my first operation at another hospital for skin cancer which, unfortunately, did not achieve the desired results, I was referred to Dr Jack Mann at the Cancer Centre - Guys Hospital. I knew immediately I was in the capable and competent hands of a fine surgeon. He is professional but at the same time puts one at ease - he has a good bedside manner. My operation, needless to say, was successful and the reconstructive surgery on my face has healed well and overtime won't even be noticeable. My final words on Dr Jack Mann- Professional, competent, highly qualified in skin cancers, a brilliant surgeon with a caring personality.
