I have seen Dr Singh several times now at the Isleworth Centre Practice and he is one of only two doctors I will make an appointment to see at this practice. The other is Doctor Rai. Even though he may be new to me at the practice he has always given me his time to listen to what I have to say, respond to what was needed or required, and have even taken time above and beyond especially when he noticed a patch of skin on my arm that had to be dealt with swiftly. I was surprised getting a hospital ringing me the next day to deal with the issue, and hadn’t thought it would be dealt with that quickly due to previous experiences from other doctors than the two I normally see. One thing I think he does well is explaining things, makes sure you are informed of what medication he has prescribed and always follows up things when he says he will. He is aware that you normally get 10 minutes to see a doctor, but he always follows up important stuff with a call or even an appointment with the pharmacist or practice nurse if he feels that is necessary or if he wants to check ongoing progress. I have no issues with speaking to him, and even though doctors can be under pressure, I always feel I have been listened to and don’t feel when I have left that I haven’t been dealt with fully during my appointment. I am not a person who just sees the doctor for a sick note, but due to a serious injury, unfortunately I have to have constant medication which sometimes is trial and error, but I can say Dr Singh has always gone through with me about changing medication and explains the symptoms and problems I could face, in the process, and helps to try and reduce some if possible. All in all, I haven’t found any problem seeing this doctor, and if anything he is one of two I would only use at this practice, unless it was urgent. I would highly recommend him, and if anything I thanked him the last time I saw him for finding a patch of skin on my arm only a few months ago that I have had urgent treatment for, and hadn’t a clue how serious it was, and not only that he wanted it checked out, but how quickly he referred it to the hospital, and in doing so got me swift treatment. This is the kind of Doctor we need to Work within the NHS. It’s a shame they don’t get paid the right money for what they actually do, or when they dogo above and beyond, but I am sure Dr Singh will say he is just doing his job. Highly recommended.
