This doctor simply does not listen to you. He will not be prepared for your arrival and will not have read your notes. He will not pay any attention to anything you bring with you. He will ask a few simple questions & reach for a prescription pad or made his referral. I am of the strong opinion that he is simply filling in the NHS hours so that he may do his private consults at the BMI hospital down the road, Dr Redmond does not provide Neurology services through the NHS in anything but name. He is simply interested in completing forms, hitting management KPIs & avoided. If you have a telephone appointment the experience is worse. Hard to believe that is possible, but it is. On a positive note with a telephone appointment, the results will be the same (ineptitude, mediocracy and indifference) so you will have saved yourself some transport costs. In all likelihood, the appointment will not happen as he will let the phone ring twice and then mark you as 'not attended'. Best avoided.
