Dr Ian Appleby was my anaesthetist at my recent surgery. He was amazing. I was very scared and worried before the operation, so I asked him lots of questions which he answered calmly and patiently. He never once made me feel silly for asking questions which made a massive difference to how I felt going into the surgery. He gave me confidence, and I was much less scared after I talked with him.. After the operation he came to see me and asked how I was which I really appreciated as he is a very busy man. That was greatly appreciated also. Thank you Dr Ian Appleby for taking away the fear from my surgery, for being kind., and keeping me alive! Thank you
