I had demonstrated the signs and symptoms of a fatal condition (Pneumonia leading to me meeting several diagnostic criteria of Sepsis:infection, high temp and fast pulse, breathlessness and feeling like you're going to die. Although not serious enough for you to give me an appointment that week, I’m supposed to have gone to A and E.
Or as the voicemail said at that time “if it gets worse.”
So I wasn’t ill enough to go to A and E or go to Strathmore but a week later after no
contact from me, another Dr. decides it is an emergency and I need to come in the next morning. Why was it suddenly urgent and how much worse did my symptoms need to get before I was advised to attend A and E:
