Dr Geoff Lockwood, Consultant Anaesthetist at Hammersmith Hospital is a consummate professional, approachable, supportive - with excellent listening skills. Brilliant - surpassed all expectations and reignited our faith in the medical profession!
A true gentleman for example when I was lifting chairs he promptly came over to help me - actually took them off me and to the place I was taking them to.
His daily visits were a joy.
In his empathetic manner he would explain the situation and listen to our concerns and questions.
Geoff sets an excellent example to his team of what the medical professional is about; caring, supportive, dignified, involving and patient service driven.
Every time I met this gent - he left my family and I feeling in better shape.
I wish all consultants were like him.
A good example of emotional intelligence and the benchmark for Doctor / patient relationship.
