She used to be my GP for a short period of time at the Bury Knowles Health Centre and she was neither kind, nor helpful nor understanding of my severe depression and feeling acutely suicidal and with her being ex military she treated me like a soldier while I was very fragile and extremely vulnerable and after seeing her (what was suppose to be a “helpful” appointment, I felt so bad that I just wanted to run in front of a car. because she made me feel so much worse and I used to find her too unbearable to cope with. There was no compassion or empathy in her, she was just absolutely terrible GP. On my last day as a patient there when I was leaving this surgery for good (after registering at much better doctors), the receptionist was angry with me for leaving and so I was given a prescription for the whole packet of 28 tablets of Setraline even while knowing that I was planning to take them all in order to die. So not only bad GP, but unfriendly receptionist and rubbish surgery all together to be honest.
