Dr Cannon has every quality one would wish for in a GP. She is extremely knowledgeable, approachable and has been extremely supportive to me as a patient and also as my husband's carer. I trust her implicitly and she has managed both my care and that of my husband with great sensitivity and skill. She has a wonderful sense of humour and an ability to lift my spirits despite all my difficulties. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a new GP as she is interested in the whole person not just the illness.

I always ask to see Dr Ellie Cannon - I find her easy to chat to, thorough in her approach and she has so far always been spot on with her diagnoses. I never feel rushed when I see her although I know she can only allocate a short amount of time to me. She is ready to refer patients to specialists which is a good thing.

Although I have been registered at the Abbey Medical Centre for many years and satisfied with the service I was given by various doctors, I first met Dr Ellie Cannon in 2012. Since then, I have specifically asked for her. When appointments are understandably restricted to a short amount of time, Dr Cannon makes one feel she has all the time in the world to deal with your concerns. As importantly, she not only listens but also thoroughly investigates (or solves) your problems - if she isn't 100% satisfied with the results of a test, or there is any chance something could still be wrong, she will take a different course and order another test. She has all the components of a perfect doctor: professional and knowledgeable yet sympathetic and approachable. It's great to have complete trust in one's GP.

Dr. Ellie Cannon is the most caring doctor i have ever met. Not only is she really clever and does an amzing job, shes also very caring and makes her patients feel welcome. She always listened to what i had to tell her and gave it a thought before jumping to conclusions about what might be wrong with me. She is unbelievably well educated and knows her subject well. There have been lots of comments and concerns about the nhs and the service it provides. But i can honestly say that i would trust this doctor with my life. She has never let me down and gives everything she does 100% of her attention and time and is extremly reliable. Over the years that she had been looking after me i have to say that i have never met any other that is as caring a her. I must admit I'm also very proud to say she is my GP because she does her job so very well. She has never let me down an and i doubt she would ever. Nadja - a very happy patient.

As a new mum of twins, I went to see doctor Cannon with distressing feeding issues. She listened to my complicated situation carefully, referred me to a specialist and came up with a short term plan while waiting for that appointment...the best GP appointment I've had in the UK!
