I had to have 4 moles removed in various ways - two cut off, two frozen off. I was quite nervous about one of the moles which had given my GP and Dr. Seaton some concern and would require an incision and stitches. I'd also been concerned about scarring for the two moles that would have to be cut off. My GP had recommended Dr. Seaton for me because of his diagnostic and surgical skill and now, having had my stitches removed most procedure and being able to reflect on the full experience, I can say that trusting Dr. Seaton with my care was the right choice. He was very thorough in explaining what would be done, why, next steps, and answering questions. He was also conscious of my concerns about scarring and made sure to explain how to care for the wound and recommend medication to help the healing. I'd say that I think he was extra careful about how he cut and sewed up the wound because of my concerns about scarring, but I genuinely believe he would have been as thorough and conscious even if I'd not make the comment. He was also be kind and professional in making sure the nurses who were assisting during my procedure were truly capable (one had made a comment pre procedure that suggested she may not know where some of the materials he would need was, and he very politely asked for someone else to come in, and the other nurse was great, he knew where everything was, he was very helpful during the procedure - I really appreciate that because I was already a bit anxious from the get-go and knowing that the right people were in the room made me feel like Dr. Seaton was picking up on these little things and truly had my best interests in mind). All in all, one week later my wounds are healing really nicely and I've got my Dermatix to help with any potentially scarring. I would highly recommend Dr. Seaton!
