I have been supported by Dr. Vekaria for the past 4 years. He is an exceptionally conscientious and professional psychiatrist. Dr Vekaria always explains issues clearly and objectively. He always listens to me and my views and presents options to me in a collaborative way. He goes above and beyond what would reasonably be expected from an NHS clinician and happily shares my consultations with my wife - with my full consent. He has also made himself available to my wife and I, separate from scheduled appointments, when required - especially in crisis. My only concern is how hard he works for the NHS and that he is clearly overworked - no doubt giving so (too ?) much of his expert time to others in their time of need. It is a regrettable fact that I have to have a number of consultations with a number of psychiatrists over a number of years. Dr Vekaria is undoubtedly the best clinician I have had the pleasure to encounter.
