We found ourselves in the middle of a very long wait for a NHS appointment for an assessment for our son. So we decided to look privately and we were so very fortunate to be recommended to Dr Thakur via our sons speech therapist. Dr Thakur has been truly amazing from the very beginning, starting from a very prompt reply to my first enquiry, to two weeks later for a 90 minute phone consultation, where I found Dr Thakur to be very friendly, extremely understanding, incredibly knowledgable & so wonderful at listening. This appointment was then followed a week later for a face to face appointment for our sons assessment. During that time, Dr Thakur had read up on all the information on our son from reports provided by his speech therapist and NHS paediatrician that we’d sent her. Dr Thakur truly understood our son & we found her to have the same thoughts & concerns we have as his parents. Dr Thakur has given us amazing support & advice on what steps we need to take next for our son moving forward. From our initial appointment four weeks ago, we’ve had two appointments and we finally now have a diagnosis for our son and his report . We feel our son is in the best care with Dr Thakur and we would highly recommend this truly amazing lady to anyone who needs help for their family in this journey.
