Dr David Windsor-Martin was new to post at Parkcrescent when he took my telephone appointment. Though calm when I began the call, the fact that he had failed to read even the briefest notes from my records meant that I had to explain everything to him. When eventually I became sharp and impatient with him, he failed to see his part in this to the point that I avoided him from thereon. If this is a doctor who not only evokes but cannot then manage a patient's mild anxiety, it is a doctor who should take responsibility for his much needed training.
