Until this year I have required little GP input with my health- over the last 10 months I have seen a number of GP's-
Sadly on some of the visits, I was made to feel like I was just a number/ inconvenience-
However each time I have seen Dr Haroon he has been the ultimate professional, he has listened, provided the required information being honest and kind.
As a fellow health care professional and as a patient, to feel that you are being seen and listened to as an individual is so important. A GP visit is not something I do lightly and working full time can be very difficult to achieve. so when you do go and are made to feel very uncomfortable by some GP's is extremely upsetting and has a direct impact upon ones physical and emotional health.
This however has never been the case with Dr Haroon who has been fantastic, I feel very reassured that he is my GP and wanted this acknowledgement to go further than just a hand shake and thank you.
