I recently met Dr Fogarty for the first time after an emergency referral. He made every effort to make me feel comfortable and took time to explain the nature of my illnesses and how they related to or impacted upon renal functions. He used my medical history and graphs indicating highs and lows in various standard indicators to increase my awareness of the reasons for and the potential prognosis for my kidney problems. I left the clinic feeling much more assured, with a significantly increased knowledge of the issues I may face and confident in the medical support I will receive when treatment becomes necessary. Dr Forgarty is clearly an experience specialist in Nephrology but he also processes powerful communications skill. As a patient he provided me with exceptional support in a very comfortable and relaxed manner. He has the correct amount of authority, derived from his experience coupled with a willingness to respect patients as individuals with real fears and concerns. An excellent combination. Any patient referred to Dr Fogarty should be confident that they will be fully informed and treated with the up most respect and regard.
