I had a private full spectrum heath check with Dr Engelke today (as part of a private heath arrangement). I am 50 years old, fairly healthy so I have not had that much experience with doctors.
My experience with Dr Corinna Engelke was exceptionally good. Despite my several life-style failings, this was no hectoring lecture but a sensible and rational discussion. She explained the test results and answered all my questions. She diagnosed a couple of additional conditions that I presented. Her advice was useful. Her humour put me at ease.
I am someone who avoids doctors until I cannot avoid them: My experience with Dr Engelke was so positive that I will reconsider my approach. I wish she were my GP!
