Clive Bezzina has just called the mother of a patient newly transferred to his unit. The family have had a truly hideous 3 months...especially over the COVID pandemic. The patients Mum told us that "Within minutes of our phone connection to him, his consultant rang me and said “Full steam ahead.” I said I understood that it was going to be a long road but that *** has always come back from setbacks and has always tried and tried again. He said that from reading his notes and what had happened to him that he must be very resilient. He said he was looking forward to getting to know him and that “*** will lead the way.” Dr Clive Bezzina was absolutely wonderful to talk to and is happy to answer any questions any of us may have."
