Dr Christine Ponsonby

On visiting her at the west herts centre she told me i was crying wolf and one day i would need help and wouldnt get it. I was in physical pain and was very upset and disturbed by her attitude and non professionalism. I was told more or less its all in your mind and not real. I left totally upset and demoralised. I think she is probably a good doctor but at her advanced age i assume she thinks she knows better than her patients but should listern and act accordingly for ther best benefits. I do not like this doctor and avoid appointments with her in future

I had a terrible experience with Dr Ponsonby. She disregarded me, she told me the 'surgery was closed' when I clearly needed help. She said 'what are you doing here I have left your referral at reception'' when I made an appointment to see her about some medication whilst planning to pick my referral up at the same time. When I asked her if she could reccomend some differfent medication because the side effects were awful, she said after flicking through her book (and not actually referring to it) 'I am sorry there are no other options for you, you will have to try and manage'. she wasn't bothered about helping me at all. Terrible experience. However, I have found another great doctor now at Manor Street who has helped me beyond belief.
